Hi Folks,

Could someone tell me if the Pro Evo 3 update changes the names of all the
teams and players in the game, or just the English ones.

Thanks

As far as I know, just the English teams are altered.

It changes all the players from what I remember. A better option, however,
is to get an x-port which will cost around the same amount and lets you
transfer save files you download from your PC to your PS2's memory card.
There's plenty of updates to download free from the net which have lots more
care and attention put into them, and are much more up to date, than the
update disk you can buy in the shops.

If your machine happens to be chipped, there's also loads of updates you can
download that will give you totally correct kits (including sponsors, badges
etc), balls, boots, ad boards and so on. Worth the price of the chip alone
in my opinion! :)

I think it might be the update disc released by Datel. Only has the teams
correct as the start of the season. Totally out of date by now. As already
posted, better off getting a X-Port or Max Drive.

Thanks, but how does an X-Port work?
Do my PC and PS2 have to be in the same room, or can I load stuff onto a
memory card independent of the PS2 being there?
